Comedy lovers got a welcome throwback this week, as The CW Network ordered an eight-episode primetime comeback for MADtv in all its politically incorrect glory. Each new one-hour episode will feature the late night show’s signature pop-culture parodies and satirical sendups, giving a voice to a new cast of up-and-coming talent while also returning original cast members as hosts.

A premiere date and time will be announced at a later date, but fans can currently watch all 14 seasons of the show’s original run on CW Seed. The show is executive produced by David E. Salzman, Mark Teitelbaum, and John Montgomery, and recently celebrated its 20th anniversary with a special on The CW. Check out a fun featurette from The CW below.

A fun #tbt fact about the series: Keegan-Michael Key got his start on MADtv (and even auditioned against Jordan Peele), and was on the show for 6 years!
