Warner Bros. moved to bolster its growing presence in the OTT world this week, as it expands its relationship with on-demand audiences around the world.
Announced on Thursday, the formation of Warner Bros. Digital Networks will significantly expand Warner Bros.' digital footprint with new offerings and strategic alliances. The offering will manage the company's partnerships with stars LeBron James and Ellen DeGeneres, as well as investments in the gamer network Machinima. As part of Time Warner's overall OTT strategy, it will also work closely with HBO and Turner to amplify the reach of both existing OTT services and forthcoming on-demand launches.
Warner Bros. Digital Networks will be led by Craig Hunegs (above), whose new role will add to his current title of President, Business and Strategy, Warner Bros. Television Group. Read the press release for more information.
