The New York Latino Film Festival (NYLFF) is gearing up to kick-off its exciting 16th edition this summer. The festival, presented by founding partner HBO, is fresh off its blockbuster 15th anniversary and will once again ignite screens with the best the Latino community has to offer. NYLFF is a welcome addition to the season’s Latino offerings and will strengthen New York’s position as the place to be for all things Latino.

NYLFF Founder Calixto Chinchilla said, “As we (Latinos) continue to dominate the box office, and the conversation surrounding diversity and inclusion is at the forefront of all things, we are truly proud to be here. We’re thankful to be recognized as the premier platform for fresh, creative, and diverse voices.”

“Now, more than ever, we are honored to partner with NYLFF to offer Latino creatives the opportunity to present, represent, and define their culture and experiences in their own voices,” said Dennis Williams, senior vice president of corporate affairs and corporate social responsibility, HBO.

The festival is currently accepting submissions until April 26. Projects in a language other than English must have English-language subtitles. Click here for more details or visit NYLatinoFilmFestival.com.
