Confined to roles such as moms and corporate executives, Andrea Savage wasn’t going to accept the industry’s current image of her. Instead, the comedian and writer, known for her part on projects like Comedy Central’s “Step Brothers” and HBO’s “Veep,” decided to create a TV show that reflected her and many other multi-faceted women she encounters in the world.
“Ultimately, if you can show people’s real stories coming from all different backgrounds, it brings people together,” said Andrea.
In this latest edition, the creator and executive producer of truTV’s “I’m Sorry” shares her inspiration for the show, how she creates a working environment supportive of women, and why she’s having more fun now than ever.
Catch the season 2 finale of “I’m Sorry” on truTV on Wednesday, March 13, at 10/9c.
