Fiona Sinn saw her current position being advertised, while riding the lift at Warner House. With a background in working across buying, sales and marketing functions within the entertainment industry, Fiona proved to be the perfect fit for her new position as Retail Promotions Manager (Grocery) where she works with the Theatrical Catalogue marketing team for Warner Home Entertainment group (WHEG). Fiona says she loves films and the challenge of working with retailers to create exciting consumer propositions.

Always looking to broaden her skills base and experience, Fiona had previously spoken with colleagues across the business about her interest to move into marketing. Prior to transitioning into the world of retail promotions, Fiona worked as a Retail Planning Manager, in the Warner Home Video Operations department. When asked how her previous position prepared her for the current role, Fiona noted that "Retail planning and retail promotions work very closely together so I understood the demands each role places on the other and how the two roles can work best to deliver results for the business."

"Cross-divisional retail opportunities present exciting internal challenges, as well as engaging consumer offers. We recently secured cross-category units in Tesco and Morrisons, which featured IPC magazine titles as well as DVDs.

There are lots of opportunities to network and meet people from other divisions in training courses."
