ATLANTA – Turner today announced the promotion of Kimberly Page to Senior Vice President, Turner Brand Communications. Kimberly is based in Atlanta and will continue to report to Molly Battin, EVP, Global Chief Communications and Corporate Marketing Officer for Turner.
“As we lean into refining our Turner brand and communications strategy for 2019, it is imperative that we align our leadership accordingly to ensure that we are generating powerful results and elevating our brands across the portfolio,” said Battin. “Kimberly has transformed our communications and social media strategies, and I am confident that under her guidance, her team will continue to develop creative, forward thinking and buzz-worthy initiatives that will push Turner to the forefront of our industry.”
Page is responsible for the company’s global brand communications and reputation management, including media relations, executive communications, crisis communications, social media, social responsibility and internal communications.
Kimberly joined Turner in 2017 as Vice President, Corporate Communications, and led strategic brand storytelling for the Turner brand including reputational campaigns, digital experiences, sponsorships, thought leadership and events. Prior to Turner, Kimberly served as Sr. Director, Corporate Communications at Walmart where she was responsible for reputational and internal storytelling to more than 2.2 million associates worldwide. Earlier in her career, Kimberly served as Director, Internal Communications for the Disney/ABC Television Group, where she was in charge of the global entertainment and news company’s employee communications and events, internal media, as well as enterprise social media and digital platforms. She began her career managing internal and external communications and engagement strategies for several global businesses, including Yum! Brands International, Verizon, and Baylor Health Care System.
Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
